Delivery
Effective date: 1 August 2026
Bathroom Boutique Creations (Pty) Ltd ("BBC", "we", "us" or "our") supplies hospitality linen and related products on a quotation and written-order basis. This policy applies to delivery arranged under an accepted BBC quotation or written order confirmation.
South African delivery through BobGo
BBC arranges deliveries within South Africa through the BobGo delivery-management platform and the courier partner selected for the delivery. BobGo connects merchants to participating courier services; the courier shown on the delivery record performs the physical collection and delivery.
The written quotation or order communication will confirm the delivery address, quoted delivery charge and available service level. Delivery charges depend on the parcel weight and dimensions, collection point, destination, service level, insurance or declared-value requirements and any special handling or access conditions.
International delivery by quotation
International delivery may be arranged only where BBC confirms it in a written quotation. International delivery is not automatically available for every product or destination. The quotation will allocate the freight method, charges, insurance where applicable, export documents, customs responsibilities and the agreed delivery basis.
Unless the quotation states otherwise, the international customer or consignee is responsible for accurate import information, import permits, destination-country compliance, customs clearance, duties, taxes, brokerage, storage and other destination charges. BBC may withhold dispatch until the required consignee and customs information has been supplied.
Production and dispatch
Products may be made to order, sourced to order or held as standard stock. Any production, sourcing or dispatch period is an estimate until confirmed in writing. Timing begins only after BBC has accepted the order, received the required payment and obtained every final specification, quantity, dimension, colour, branding instruction and approval required for supply.
A production estimate is separate from courier transit time. Courier transit begins after collection and may vary by destination, service level, public holidays, remote-area routing, customs processes and circumstances outside BBC’s reasonable control.
Delivery information and access
The customer must provide a complete physical delivery address, postal code, contact person, working telephone number and any site-access or booking requirements. Additional charges caused by incorrect information, failed delivery, restricted access, redirection, re-delivery, storage or return to sender may be charged to the customer where lawful.
Tracking and delivery estimates
Where tracking is available, BBC or the relevant delivery service may provide tracking notifications or a tracking reference. Tracking events and estimated delivery dates are operational estimates and are not guaranteed delivery appointments unless BBC expressly confirms otherwise in writing.
Receipt and inspection
An authorised person must be available to receive the delivery. Before signing a delivery record, the recipient should check the number of packages and inspect the packaging for visible damage, interference or leakage. Visible transport damage or shortages should be recorded on the delivery record where possible.
Report visible transport damage, shortages or an incorrect delivery to BBC as soon as possible, preferably within 48 hours, with the BBC quotation or order reference, delivery record and clear photographs of the packaging, labels and affected goods. This notification period assists a courier claim and does not remove a right that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Partial delivery and delays
BBC may arrange partial deliveries where practical and will communicate any material allocation of delivery costs. BBC will communicate material delays of which it becomes aware. BBC is not responsible for delay caused by late customer approval, inaccurate information, supplier or production disruption, courier delay, customs action, industrial action, severe weather, infrastructure failure or another event beyond BBC’s reasonable control, subject to applicable law.
Risk and ownership
Risk in the goods passes as stated in the accepted quotation or, if the quotation is silent, when the goods are delivered to the customer or its authorised recipient, subject to any mandatory law. Ownership remains with BBC until all amounts due for the goods have been paid in full, to the extent permitted by law.
